Welcome to Relic Trader ("we," "us," "our," or the "Company"). By accessing or using our website and services (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). Please read them carefully before using our platform.

1. Acceptance of Terms

b. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

5. Listings and Transactions

a. Seller Responsibilities

b. Buyer Responsibilities

As a buyer, you agree to:

c. Transaction Disputes

Relic Trader is a platform that facilitates transactions between users. We are not a party to transactions and are not responsible for disputes between buyers and sellers. However, we may assist in resolving disputes at our discretion.

d. Offer Actions and Commitments

An offer is a proposal to purchase a listed item at the price and terms shown in the offer interface. Any messages exchanged are for communication only and do not change the offer terms unless the change is reflected in the offer’s structured fields (e.g., price, quantity, shipping method, etc.).

Accept. When you accept an offer (or accept a counteroffer), you are confirming that you intend to complete the transaction as shown in the offer details. Acceptance may create a binding commitment between buyer and seller to proceed with the transaction. You agree not to materially change the price or terms outside the platform once an offer is accepted.

Counter. When you counter an offer, you are rejecting the prior offer and proposing a new offer with updated terms. The prior offer cannot be accepted unless it is re-sent.

Reject. When you reject an offer, you are declining that offer and the transaction will not proceed under those terms. Rejecting an offer does not prevent either party from making a new offer unless restricted by account settings or our policies.

Offer Expiration. Offers and counteroffers may expire automatically after a set period shown in the interface. Expired offers cannot be accepted.

No Guarantee of Performance. Relic Trader provides the platform for users to transact. We do not guarantee that any user will complete a transaction, and we may take actions in accordance with our policies if a user repeatedly accepts offers and does not follow through (including warnings, limitations, holds, or account suspension).

e. High-Value Offers and Safety

High-Value Offers. Transactions above certain values may carry increased risk. For high-value offers, we may show additional warnings, require extra confirmation steps, delay certain actions, or request additional information to help prevent fraud or mistakes. “High-Value Offer” means an offer we identify as higher risk based on price or other factors, as determined by us from time to time.

User Responsibility. You are responsible for confirming item details (including condition, edition/print, authenticity where relevant, and any defects) before accepting or countering. You are also responsible for safe packing and shipping practices.

Recommended Protections. For high-value transactions, we strongly recommend tracked shipping, signature confirmation, appropriate insurance, and retaining evidence of condition and packaging (e.g., photos/video taken before shipment).

Limitation. Except as expressly stated in these Terms or required by law, Relic Trader is not responsible for losses related to user error, fraud, misrepresentation by another user, shipping loss/damage, or disputes between users. Our role is limited to providing the marketplace features and enforcing our policies.
